59 <br />1) City Manager noted that the Santa Clara County Taxpayers Association's <br />4 Annual Meeting and Public Service Awards Banquet will be held Tuesday, <br />April 16, 1S63 at San Jose. <br />2) City Manager noted that the Inter -City Council will meet Thursday, April <br />1963 at Santa Clara. <br />3) City Manager stated that upon request by the Council, Staff had determined <br />that there are 313 existing residences in Sewer Assessment District io. 3. He <br />further stat_d that 152 letters of protest were received at the Protest Hearing <br />on March 28, 1968, representing 143 resid-ances. Therefore, 44.97% of the <br />resident homeowners in District No. 3 protestedthe formation of the District, <br />while 55.03% of the resident homeowners war& in favor of fornation of <br />District No. 3. <br />City Manager further noted that 32.95% of too land acreage in District Ho. 3 <br />protested the formation of the District. <br />MOTION: Councilman Davey -.coved that the Staff conduct a mailing to residents <br />in Sewer Assessment District No. 3, giving a statistical breakdown on the <br />residents in waver and against the District and giving a summary of Health <br />Department information on failing septic systems, etc. <br />Mo ion died for lack of a Second. <br />MOTION SSCOIVDED r.ND CARRIED: Councilman Aiken moved, Seconded by Bowle, and <br />carried unanimously by roll call vote that the Staff conduct a separat_ mailing <br />to residents in Sewer Assessment District No. 3, at the sane time as the <br />"ailing of the asscssnant Notice, giving a summary of statistical information <br />relative to District No. 3 protests in regard to residences involved and land <br />acreage involved, and also containing an announcement of the availability of <br />Health Department findings in the Town Hall files. <br />Scheduled Itc;.; No. 1. <br />PUBLIC HEARING - SLOPE DONSITY INTERIM ORDINANCE: <br />11.5 <br />City Attorney introduced and read in its entirety Ordinance No. 13P., an ordinance <br />of the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills amending Ordinance No. 7u of <br />said Town by adding new sections thereto pertaining to minimum area of steep <br />lots and repealing Ordinance No. 135. <br />City Attorney noted th:2 interim ordinance 'would become effective immediately <br />an:: would remain in force for one year, unless revoked at an earlier date by <br />tae Council. <br />:.t 6:25 P, h,, Mayor lonley opened the Public Hearing.
