Secrc-st for a one <br />year extension of time to Jun-, 9, 1969 to file Final Map be approved. <br />UNSCHEDULED ITEM NO. 4. <br />CONSIDERi TION OF L&1SE AGREEMENT :oITH P\LO ALTO SCHOOL DISTRICT RE: 9 8 3 <br />LITTLE IZAGUE SITE& v <br />City Attorney noted the existence of a one (1) year lease at $1,550 which <br />can be extQnded annually until June 30, 1971, the Town retaining th= option <br />to purchase the property for $31,000 at any tine during the lif.: of the lease. <br />MOTION, S3CONDaD FIND GRRIED: Councilman Davey moved, seconded by Benson, <br />that Council approve the lease agrec:aont with the Palo-.lto School District <br />and that the iiayor and City Clerl= bo autaoriz:d to execute same, was carried <br />unanir:ously by roll call vote: ryes: Councilmen Benson, Davey, Fcwle, Mayor <br />Aikcn, i-Ioes: None. IcNDELL ROSCOE. <br />City Manager noted that Mr. Roscoe had requested that the matter be deferred <br />to May 20th. <br />UNSCHEDULED ITEM NO. 7. <br />QUEST TO CONSTRUCT ASPHeLT PATH f.LONG PU31SS IMA RO'1D: <br />City Manages noted that the Planning Commission had recommended approval, <br />that there was money available in the Path Fund for the construction, and <br />that the path was the top priority of the Pathways Committee. <br />Council discussion ensued with Floor participation by Commissioner Hibner, <br />Mrs. B. Ginzton and ivirs. Spencer. City 'ittorney noted that there is a Town <br />ordinance which would exclude notorcycI2 usage of the path, but that an <br />[ <br />enforcement problem exists. <br />NOTION, SECONDED :IIJD Ci3RI3D: Councilman Davey noved, seconded by Benson <br />and carried unaninously, that the Council authorize the Staff to proceed in <br />accord- <br />wit., tiv Planning Commission's ra co--<maendetions to construct an asphalt <br />ance <br />bike path along Purissr;.ua Road. -6- <br />
