SCHEDULED ITEM NO. 1 <br />Statement of Policy to: Sewers: <br />821 <br />Councilman Ronson introduced and read in ics entirety Resolution No. 453, a <br />resolution of ire Town of Los Altos Hills regarding sewer policy. Councilman <br />Benson noted tho following basic changes: 1) New districts would be restricted <br />only to those who want or need to be includod whenever this is possible; 2) <br />wVen not possible to draw district boundaries to exclude all those not needing <br />or wanting sewers, those residents not connecting will be assesse3 a lesser <br />amount than those connecting. This lesser account would consist of a) amount <br />required to reserve treatment rights, and b) 10% of the normal assessment, the <br />remaining 00% to be paid if and when tie connection is made. <br />Council discussion ensued, with Floor participation by Irma Goldsmith, 27330 <br />Elena Road, E. Breyman, 13456 'Wild.crest Drive, and David Bellucci, 25220 <br />Moody Road. <br />Council concurred. that Councilman Fowlo should submit his roconumended <br />.modifications in writing and that this natter should be agended for the <br />June 30 uceting. <br />SCHEDULED ITuik iTO_2 <br />Considcra W,on of Septic Tank Ordinance Po.. 136: <br />Councilmen Helgesson noted that toe County Health Department had agreed to all <br />previously discussed changes eliminating system registration, Town pumping <br />reports, inspection notices, andinspections by the Town. Councilman Helgesson <br />recompona'_d the following additions: <br />Pagc 2, Section 1, (g) 2 -'These areas include those where ownership <br />or occupancy is different from that on which <br />the systen is located.' <br />3otton of Page 3 -'Alternate systems will be considered by the <br />Health Officer upon request of the applicant. <br />Requirements for submission of said alternative <br />plans are authorized in the Town Standards.' <br />Bottom 01 Pago 7 -'and to make such investigation, including taking <br />of samples znd conducting of dye tests.' <br />Council discussion ensued, with Floor participation by Dr. Hary Riggs, Santa <br />Clara County Health Department. <br />JOTIOR, SECOADED AND CARRl3D: Counci L.:an Benson ❑oved, seconded by Davey and <br />carrier, unanimously, that the Council have a. first reading of Ordinance No. 136 <br />later in the Agenda. <br />SCHEDULED ITEM NO. 3 <br />Consideration of Change in Minutes of Council Meeting: 73 <br />Council discussion <br />ensued concerning completeness of the Minutes. <br />Council <br />concurred that the <br />Staff should <br />continue to prepare Minutes per <br />the example <br />of Council i6inutes <br />dated May 6, <br />1968. <br />-3- <br />
