CITY COUNCIL <br />TOWN OF IAS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING <br />October 21, 1968 <br />REEL 13, SIDE 1, TRACK 4 - FOOTAGE 300 - 541 <br />Mayor Wm. Ross Aiken called the Regular Meeting of the City Council of the <br />Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:45 P. M. in the Council Chambers of <br />the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, with the following <br />members answering roll call: Present: Councilmen Benson, Fowle, Helgesson, <br />Mayor Aiken. Absent: Councilman Davey (arrived 7:48 P. M.). <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: October 7, 1968. <br />Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by Benson, that the Minutes of October 7, <br />1968 be approved as submitted, was carried by a majority voice vote, <br />Councilman Fowle abstaining. <br />COMMUNICATIONS• <br />City Manager reviewed the following: <br />1. John A. McWilliams, 950 North San Antonio Road, Los Altos, dated <br />October 12, 1968, requesting abandonment of Lupine Road Plan Line. <br />to City Manager noted that the Purissima Hills County Water District had <br />installed a water line along the Plan Line and stated it would not appear <br />to be in the public interest to abandon the Plan Line. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Fowle moved, seconded by Helgesson <br />and carried unanimously, that the Staff be directed to notify Mr. McWilliams <br />of previous reliance on the Plan Line and the Council's desire to maintain <br />same. <br />Councilman Davey arrived at 7:48 P. M. <br />2. Pierre George Leroux, 26970 Arastradero Road, dated October 12, 1968 re <br />improvement requirements for the Whitcomb Subdivision on Arastradero Road, <br />requesting Council action to enforce subdivider's compliance to these require- <br />ments. <br />City Manager stated that no subdivision agreement or bond exists on the im- <br />provements since a Parcel Map was filed on the subdivision. City Manager <br />further stated that the improvements could definitely be assured at the time <br />Lots #1 and #3 are approved as building sites. <br />Council concurred that the Staff should notify Mr. Leroux of the above <br />situation. <br />3. Letter addressed to Planning Commission from Alan S. Hart, Division of <br />Highways, dated October 7, 1968, requesting delay on the rezoning of the <br />8.124 acre parcel owned by the State in the vicinity of O'Keefe Avenue and <br />Junipero Serra Freeway, pending a determination of who the potential <br />purchaser might be. <br />
