B. <br />Clayton, at 7:55 P. M. at the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, <br />Los Altos Hills, California. <br />ROLL CALIF: PRES'NT: Councilmen Aiken, Bowler, Henley <br />Mayor Clayton <br />ABSENT: Councilman Fowls <br />(Councilman Fowle arrived at 8:12 P. M.) <br />MINUTES: Play 4, 1964. <br />ACTION: <br />Adopt Minutes of May 4, 1964 as submitted. <br />COMMUNICATIONS: <br />1. Julian F. Rowe27050 Elena Road - Letter dated May 7, 1964 <br />stating appreciation o£ service and support of underground <br />(-1 utilities was read by the City Manager. <br />l ) 2. Office of the Sheriff.County of Santa Clara - Letter dated <br />May 15—,1964 inviting the City Council to a tour of the <br />detention facilities on Play 27tb, at 11:00 A. N. <br />3. Division <br />of <br />Highways, Right of Way Agent - Letter dated <br />May 14, 19 regarding their position on the replacement of <br />fencing located within the right-of-way in connection with <br />the recently completed construction on E1 Monte Avenue. <br />This letter was in response to an inquiry by the City Manager <br />on behalf of property owners affected by this construction <br />(Council Minutes of March 16, 1964). The City Manager was <br />instructed to request a copy of the agreement referred to in <br />the letter from the Division of Highways. <br />4. Foothill College, William B. Uutier, _Lean oz �MLvlcco - <br />Letter dated May 13, 1964 regarding extended sheriff patrol <br />coverage at Foothill College. The City Manager will <br />investigate the best means in order to effect this request <br />and report to the City Council. <br />5. The City Attorney referred to a letter dated May 11, 1964 <br />from the attorneys representing the Town of Woodside advis- <br />ing that the Public Utilities Commission has accepted <br />`1 jurisdiction in the matter of the complaint of the Town of <br />
