ACTION: Adopt Minutes of July 20, 1964 as published. COMMUNICATTIONS: -1. %av Barber, Safety Committee of the G. Bullis School P. T. A. Letter of July 28, 19b4 requested the -Town to provide crossing guards to assist children across Fremont Road, at the school entrance. Mr. C. Ahern Ass t. COMMITTEE REPORTS: - 1. Deputy Mayor Aiken reported that he had conferred with the State Di- vision of Highways relative to traffic signalization near Foothill College; that work has been authorized and that plans and cost estimates will be presented to the Town for approval although it was indicated that costs will be borne by Foothill College. ":.PLANNING COMMISSION REFERRALS: 'Appointment of Planning Commissioner. The Council was concurrent in the opinion that the matter of the re- appointment of Mr. Arthur S. Alter, whose term on the Planning com- mission expired July ommissionexpiredJuly 10, 1964, or the appointment of his successor 'should be deferred until the full. Council is present.
