Bullis, 14085 Manuella Road <br />Mrs. Mary D. Rose,.4284 Manuella Road, Palo Alto <br />H. Booth, 4280 Manuella Road, Palo Alto <br />Mrs. W. C. Carlton ,.25935 Estacada Drive <br />R. Bulmore, 25900 Springhill Road <br />Thomas E. Green, 14840 Manuella Road <br />Upon Councilman Fowle's assurance and Councilman Aiken's <br />unrelinquishable statement that the rural character of the <br />Town .and the road and trees will not change, the Mayor <br />informed the audience there had been no communication from <br />Palo Alto regarding this matter and that legally they had <br />no authority over the property rights of Los.Altos Hills <br />residents. In any event, the Council, in complete agree- <br />. ment, assured the petitioners that the rural character of <br />the Town will not change. In this respect, Councilman <br />Bowler proposed the following resolution: <br />RESOLVED, That it is the sense of the Council <br />that the Town of Los Altos Hills will continue <br />_ its present policy with respect to roads in the <br />Town of Los Altos Hills, particularly with respect <br />- to retaining the rural atmosphere of the roads and <br />the preservation of trees along the roads; <br />WHEREAS, and if the Council is approached by any <br />neighboring municipality on the subject of widen- <br />ing roads or changing traffic patterns, that it <br />will hold public hearings before taking any action <br />whatsoever upon such a request. <br />ACTION: <br />Adopt foregoing Resolution. <br />MOTION: Bowler; S-WOND: Fowls <br />ROLL CJ.!L: AYES: liken, Bowler, Fowls, Henley <br />Mayor Clayton <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />2. Otto Kohl - Re: Completion of improvements in Page Mill <br />Estates. <br />Mr. Kohl has foreclosed on Page Mill i965tesnsand <br />perwill <br />histake <br />possession on or before February 15, <br />letter dated November 11, 1964, he is requesting a reasonable <br />extension of time past the due completion date of December 15, <br />Q-) 1964 in order to complete improvements. <br />-3- <br />
