Kohn .Stable - Architectural Approval. <br />In reviewing the architectural plans, Council took exception <br />to the aluminum roof in that the glare might be objectionable <br />to the surrounding neighbors and incompatible with the rural <br />atmosphere. <br />Councilman Clayton arrived at 8:03 T. N. <br />ACTION: <br />That the architectural plans for the Kohn Stable <br />(Ui-245-66) be approved in every detail, except <br />for the color of the roof. <br />MOTION:Bowler; SECOND: Aiken; <br />Comments were heard from the following individuals: Messrs. <br />David Janssen, 27440 Sherlock Road, and Richard Towle, 26493 <br />Weston Drive. <br />The !question was called: VOTE: Passed unanimously. <br />' NEW BUSINESS: <br />1. John E. Warner - Request for Abandonment of Ten Foot (10') <br />Pathway Easement - end of LaLanne Court. <br />City Manager read letter dated March 10, 1966 from John E. <br />Warner requesting an abandonment of a 10' walkway adjoining <br />his property at 25631 LaLanne Court, and submitted Tract Map <br />and Exhibit A showing said location and County right of way of <br />the Foothill Expressway, together with Resolution of the Board <br />of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara prohibiting <br />pedestrians and other uses of County Expressways. <br />ACTION: <br />That the request of John E. Warner for abandonment <br />of pathway easement be approved. <br />MOTION: Aiken; SECOND: Fowle <br />City Attorney advised this pathway is not an easement but a <br />fee simple holding of the Town and disposition would require <br />public hearings and a resolution of intent to sell and calling <br />Jbr bids. Mr. Warner stated he would be a bidder. <br />In view of the above discussion, Motion and Second were with- <br />,i drawn, and the Mayor instructed the City Attorney to prepare <br />such a resolution and bids called for at the April 4s meeting. <br />-2- <br />
