Jameson, -" <br />27440 Sherlock Road, commented on the violation as stated in <br />Mr. Spencer's letter of March 13, 1966. <br />ACTION: <br />That the City Attorney be instructed to contact <br />the owner and take whatever steps are necessary <br />to abate this nuisance. <br />MOTION; Clayton; SECOND: Fowls; VOTE: Passed unanimously. <br />3. Councilman Aiken - Sight Clearance along Roads. <br />Although many similar hazards exist throughout the Town, <br />Councilman Aiken referred particularly to that area on <br />Magdalena Road near Blandor Way where the many overhanging. <br />trees along the curve restricts sight clearance, and requested <br />Council approval to have the trees trimmed since this situation <br />does not meet the legal requirements of Ordinance No. 78, <br />Sec. XI, Trees and Shrubs. <br />ACTION: <br />That the City Manager be instructed to determine <br />whether the trees in question are on private <br />property, and if so, contact the owners of the <br />land to request permission to correct the hazard. <br />NOTION: Aiken; ST=ND: Fowls; VOTE: Passed unanimously. <br />USE PERMITS: <br />1.
