UNSCHEDULED ITEMS: <br />3. James, Stephen - Request to File Parccl Map. <br />I.CTION : <br />That Stephen James be granted approval to file <br />a Parcel Map, in accordance with the require- <br />ments of the Tentative liap. <br />MOTION: Davey; SECOF'D: Fowls; VOTE: Passed unanimously. <br />4. Corbetta, Louis F. - Request for in lieu payment of Road <br />Improvements. <br />City Clerk referred to Mr. L, Corbetta's letter dated <br />August 25, 1966 requesting the Council to accept an in lieu <br />payment for road improvements on Altamont Road since the <br />contemplated trunk sewer line has not been installed as <br />anticipated, and bringing to Council_ attention the lack of <br />a Sewer f.ssessment District for the Altamont Basin. <br />.1CTION : <br />That the Council express a willingness to <br />11r. Corbetta to enter into negotiations with <br />the City Engineer in order to arrive at an <br />in lieu payment for the e'.ltamont paving. <br />MOTION: Fowle; SECOND: Davey; VOTE: Passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Louis Corbetta, 12500 Corbetta Lane, spoke of his plans <br />for a sewer assessment district, as written in his letter <br />noted above, and requested help from the Town in thc: event he <br />is not able to secure the necessary minimum percentage of <br />land owners for the proposed district. <br />Mr. Harry C. Ferry, 25521 Altamont Road, submitted eight <br />petitions from property owners within the proposed sewer <br />district, stating the reasons they do not wish to be a part <br />of the proposed sanitary sewer assessment district. <br />Council acknowledged the petitions, stating its intention to <br />take no action this meeting, <br />5, <br />Los Altos <br />Chamber of Commerce - agreement <br />for Service. <br />Deferred <br />to September 19tH meeting <br />pending <br />further study. <br />-4- <br />
