Most of the living area for the house is on the first floor (14, 088 square feet plus 382 <br /> square feet of double-counted high-ceiling areas). The second story (1,132 square feet).accounts <br /> for approximately 6.5 percent of the total floor area for the main residence. <br /> The first floor consists of an entry foyer flanked by a living room and dining room; a family <br /> room, kitchen, media room, library and garage in the south wing; and a north wing consisting of <br /> the master suite, guest rooms, indoor pool, exercise room, and laundry room clustered around an <br /> inner courtyard. The second story consists of a family room and telescope room above the main <br /> family room and kitchen below. The basement includes a theatre, wine cellar, and entertainment <br /> area, as well as two mechanical rooms, a computer room to house the equipment that controls the <br /> house and grounds, and a utility tunnel to provide service access to the infrastructure of the <br /> house. <br /> Three clusters of solar panels are located in the southeast corner of the site; one of the clusters is <br /> in a proposed open space easement. The square footage of the solar panels has.not been included <br /> in the development area because the plans are still preliminary.
