V <br />during such time for compliance existing provisions <br />of this Article shall not be violated. <br />Section 6-4.304(2). New Sources. <br />(a) New sources of industrial wastes discharge <br />shall be in full compliance with the pro- <br />visions of this Article at the time of <br />commencement of discharge. <br />(b) Discharges, the characteristics of which <br />have been altered due to process changes <br />by a discharger, shall be considered new <br />sources and such discharges shall be in <br />compliance with provisions of this Article <br />at the time of commencement of the altered <br />discharge. <br />SECTION 4. AMENDMENT OF CODE. <br />Section 6-4.308 of Article 3 of Chapter 4 of Title 6 of the <br />Los Altos Hills Municipal Code hereby is amended to read as follows: <br />Section 6-4.308. waste Sampling Locations. <br />Every establishment from which industrial wastes <br />are discharged to the sewer system shall provide and <br />maintain one or more outside manholes, access boxes, <br />junction chambers or other sampling points approved <br />by the City Engineer which will permit the separate <br />sampling of sanitary and industrial wastes. The City <br />Engineer may approve sampling points which will permit <br />the separate sampling of industrial wastes only for <br />establishments existing on the effective date of this <br />Article. Sanitary and industrial wastes shall be <br />kept completely separated upstream of such sampling <br />-2- <br />
