. 410 <br /> and it further appearing that there has been commenced a study of <br /> the problems described in Resolution No. 790, to wit: <br /> 1. Excessive grading which results in accelerated erosion, <br /> sedimentation and runoff causing downstream flooding, ugly scars <br /> on which 'it is difficult to reestablish vegetation, alteration of <br /> the natural environment in such a manner as to be inconsistent with <br /> the basic aesthetic qualities of the Town, the creation of cut and <br /> fill banks over which drivewayaccesses to lots are difficult to <br /> achieve; <br /> 2 . Excessive removal of trees which results in loss of <br /> aesthetic value and modification of micro climates; and <br /> 3. The creation of lots which do not afford sites which pro- <br /> vide space suitable for the variety of uses normally associated <br /> with residential uses in the Town; <br /> and it further appearing that the moratoriumimposed in Resolution <br /> No. 790, as previously extended by. Resolution No. 832, should be <br /> extended and continued for an additional period of one (1) year to <br /> allow the completion of the studies described above, together with <br /> regulations affecting subdivisions and the preparation, consideration <br /> and adoption of such modifications of said regulations as may be <br /> deemed necessary and appropriate. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Councilof the Town <br /> of Los Altos Hills that the moratorium upon the acceptance of <br /> applications for the division of land more particularly described <br /> in Resolution No. . 790,adopted--on -July 3;•-1974, .andpr.eviously-extended <br /> by_ .Resolution- No-832, adopted on.-November 6, 1974.,.: be and the same <br /> hereby is ordered continued and extended for one (1) year from and <br /> after July 3, 1975. <br /> * * * <br /> -2- <br />
