►_ • <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 696 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS RELATING TO STANDING COMMITTEES. <br /> RESOLVED, by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills that the Town's <br /> policy relating to Standing Committees shall be as follows: <br /> Article I. Regular Committees <br /> Sec. 1 Established. <br /> The following are hereby constituted as the regular Standing Committees of <br /> the Town: <br /> (a) Pathways Committee; <br /> (b) Traffic and Public Safety Committee; <br /> (c) Noise Abatement Committee; <br /> (d) Environmental Design Committee. <br /> Sec. 2 General Powers and Duties. <br /> Each of the Standing Committees of the Town shall have the general power and <br /> duty within the Committee's sphere of interest, to render advice and make recommenda- <br /> tions to the City Council , Planning Commission, or the City Manager and other Town <br /> bodies designated by the City Council on all aspects of policies related to the manage- <br /> ment, maintenance, control and improvement of land and facilities for public convenienc.. <br /> as well as: <br /> (a) The acquisition, development and use of land or other property; <br /> (b) Ordinances or resolutions to establish rules and regulations governing <br /> Town-controlled facilities; <br /> Sec. 3 Special Powers and Duties. <br /> In addition to the general powers and duties enumerated above, the specified <br /> Committee shall be empowered and obligated as follows: <br /> (a) Pathways Committee: <br /> (1) To study and make recommendations on matters relating to the <br /> acquiring of path and trail easements within the Town, including <br /> new divisions of land; <br /> (2) To review and recommend changes to the Trail and Path Element of <br /> the General Plan; <br /> (3) To study and recommend ordinances and resolutions for the estab- <br /> lishment of rules and regulations governing the acquisition, con- <br /> struction, maintenance and use of public paths and trails. <br /> -1- <br />
