Smith, <br /> Deputy City Clerk. <br /> ACTION: <br /> Adopt Resolution No. 239 as read. <br /> MOTION: Henley; SECOND : Bowler; <br /> ROLL CALL: AYES: Bowler, Fowle , Henley, Mayor Clayton <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Aiken <br /> The Council raised the question as to penalties on maintenance <br /> of improvements and requirement of a bond to insure maintenance <br /> for the one-year period prior to acceptance of improvements . The . <br /> City Engineer commented that there have been no problems with <br /> reputable contractors. The Council requested that the City Engineer <br /> and City Attorney study this matter and submit a recommendation. <br /> 2. Tract No. 2518 (Phyllis Wilson) - Request for Extension of Time <br /> for Completion of Improvements . <br /> A letter from Mrs. Wilson, dated July 11, 1963, requested an <br /> extension of time for filing final map of Tract No. 2518 <br /> because the State has not determined the precise right-of-way of <br /> the proposed Junipero Serra Freeway. <br /> Inasmuch as the development of this property is in conflict with the <br /> proposed Freeway, the Council concurred that the request should <br /> be granted . <br /> ACTION: <br /> That the request of Mrs. Phyllis Wilson for extension of <br /> �l time for filing final map of Tract No. 2518 be approved <br /> for one year, to August 5, 1964. <br /> MOTION : Fowle; SECOND : Henley; VOTE: Passed unanimously <br /> -2- <br />
