Ferris , appeared before <br /> the Council to appeal from the action of the Planning Commission <br /> on August 12, 1963 (disapproval of Revised Tentative Map of <br /> Wm. Ferris (239-62) No; 0-137A, 3 lots) , and presented a petition <br /> signed by eight surrounding property owners. There were no <br /> objections to the proposed subdivision. As new evidence , there <br /> was a conditional approval of the County of Santa Clara Health <br /> Department , dated September 10, 1963. <br /> The Council discussed the matter of increasing the size of acreage <br /> for lot sizes of one acre to meet the requirements of the land <br /> and in the interest of welfare and safety. The City Attorney was <br /> of the opinion that the Council has the authority to go outside <br /> the minimum of the Ordinance . <br /> ACTION: <br /> That the Revised Tentative Map of Wm. Ferris (239-62) , <br /> No. C-137A, 3 lots, be approved; subject to the items on <br /> the Check List, and providing for the dedication of a <br /> path easement along the southerly and westerly lines of <br /> the subdivision from the southeasterly corner of Lot 1 <br /> to the northwesterly corner of Lot 3 . <br /> MOTION: Aiken; SECOND: Bowler <br /> VOTE: AYES: Aiken, Bowler, Mayor Clayton <br /> NOES: Fowle , Henley <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> -4- <br />
