Emerson Smith - Letter, dated Mar. 5, 1962, requested the Council <br /> to consider approval of Tentative Map (not on printed Agenda) . <br /> Deferred to Divisions of Land: <br /> ANNOUNC;M NTS: <br /> 1. Notice of proposed Annexation, designated as El Camino No. 19, to <br /> the City of Mountain View. <br /> 2. Notice of Meeting of League of California Cities, Feninsula Divi- <br /> sion, to be held Thurs. , Mar. 15, 1962 at 7:00 F. M. at the La <br /> Rinconada Country Club , 17400 'dedlewood Ave. , Los Gatos . <br /> COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br /> 1. Water - Municipal Water District - Councilmen Henley & Aiken. <br /> Councilman Henley paraphrased the Report, submitted and accepted <br /> on Feb. 19, 1962, for the benefit of parties concerned who were <br /> not present at that time. <br /> No further action was taken. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> 1. Axford Subdivision - Postponed until requested by the Chair to <br /> be returned to the Agenda. <br /> 2. Traffic Study - City Engineer. <br /> Letter. from the City Engineer, dated Mar. 5, 1962, recommending <br /> that the speed limit in the Town be set at 25 MPH, was read by <br /> the Clerk. <br /> The Mayor suggested that the matter be referred to a Committee <br /> for study; that the City Attorney might draft an Ordinance which <br /> would require two public hearings, thus giving the residents an <br /> opportunity to express opinions. <br /> Committee to study reducing the speed limit in the Tc,.„, will be <br /> appointed by the Mayor. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> None. <br />
