COMMITTEE RETORTS: <br /> C1. Berm on Moody Road - *:,_ Le Subdivision . <br /> Councilman Sherlock reported for the Council's Road Committee, <br /> recommending that the berm be back filled, the curb be striped ; <br /> diagonally, and the Centcrline of the road be striped. He <br /> stated that the cost estimated by the Martin J. Taaffe Co. is <br /> $500.00. <br /> ACTION: <br /> That the work be done and be determined later how to pay <br /> for the work. <br /> MOTION: Sherlock; SECOND : Aiken; <br /> ROLL CALL: AYES: Aiken, Clayton, Sherlock, Mayor Fowle <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Henley <br /> Further discussion was deferred until the arrival of the City <br /> Engineer. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> 1. Public Rearing - Ravensbury Annexation No. 1. <br /> The City Attorney reported that the protest of resident repre- <br /> senting over fifty-one per cent (51%) of the assessed valuation <br /> of the proposed annexation would have to stand; that Mrs. Millar( <br /> name cannot be withdrawn. <br /> He recommended that the Council take no further action regarding <br /> the Ravensbury Annexation. <br /> 2. Clark, Don - Tract No. 1583 - Default of Road Improvements. <br /> The City Attorney brought to the attention of the Council that <br /> Mr. Clark has defaulted in road improvements, required at the <br /> tine his subdivision was approved in 1957, and asked if the <br /> Council wished hin to nrocede with legal action to have work <br /> completed. <br /> The natter was referred to the Council's Committee on Legal <br /> '_ffairs--Councilmen Henley and Clayton. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> 1. Miss May Christal - rrotest to Inclusion in San Antonio Hills <br /> No. 2 :annexation to the Town of Los .Altos Hills. <br /> Miss Christal stated her protest to being annexed to Los Altos <br /> Hills , and was informed by the Mayor that the natter was out of <br /> the hands of the Council; that the election would be held on <br /> June 6, 1961 to determine whether the area will be annexed to <br /> the Town. <br />
