By the City of Palo Alto. <br /> Letter, dated March 12, 1959 from the City of Palo Alto, requested <br /> permission from the Town of Los Altos Hills to install water and <br /> sewer lines along Page Mill Road. Ordinance was also submitted. <br /> Mr. George Morgan, Assistant City Manager of Palo Alto, was pre- <br /> sent. <br /> Councilman Bledsoe reported on study made by him and Councilman <br /> Henley. He stated that the matter requires further study relative <br /> to how adequate the system is to be; the possibility of the Town's <br /> residents in that area being served by the facilities, and that. in <br /> case of annexations, there be a reciprocal agreement. Recommend- <br /> ation was also made that the Town describe in specific terms the <br /> area to be served, and that relative to construction, the City <br /> Attorney have a 'hold harmless ' clause to the agreement. <br /> Mr. Morgan stated that Palo Alto wishes to reach land within the <br /> corporate limits of Palo Alto by of Los Altos Hills. Relative to <br /> Los Altos Altos Hills residents being served by the facilities, he <br /> stated that is is not the policy of the City of Palo Alto to pro- <br /> vide service for any area outside its corporate limits. <br /> Following discussion of the area to be served, adequacy of the <br /> system, the Mayor stated that he would appoint a committee to meet <br /> with Mr. Morgan to submit a recommendation at the next meeting. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> 1. Pink Horse Ranch Unit #2 (25-56) 7 lots. Engl.. Nolte. <br /> Mr. Roscoe was present. <br /> Commissioner Mellquist read the recommendation submitted by the <br /> Planning Commission at its meeting of March 21, 1959. <br /> ACTION: <br /> That Pink Horse Ranch Unit #2 (25-56) 7 lots be approved, sub- <br /> ject to posting a bond for improvement of contiguous roads, <br /> approval of all agencies, subject to Town Planting Specifi- <br /> cations, in-tract drainage, off-tract drainage, traffic signs, <br /> paths along one side of Adobe Lane to Moody Road and along <br /> the easement of Lot #25, and the dedication of ten feet (10' ) <br /> along frontage of Moody Road. <br /> MOTION: Clayton; SECOND: Bledsoe: <br /> ROLL CALL: AYES: Bledsoe, Clayton, Henley, Sherlock, <br /> Mayor Fowle <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br />
