-3— <br />Recommendation A: <br />ACTION: <br />That the Town inform Fremont Hills Development Company that <br />as part of the conditions of arproval for Fremont Hills Unit <br />#59 the corporation be required to post a performance bond to <br />insure faithful completion of improvements relating Unita #19 <br />2, and 3. <br />MOTION: Fowle; SECOND: Bledsoe; VOTE: Passed unanimously <br />Recommendation. L2. <br />It was decided that action on Recommendation ,Y2 be deferred, <br />and that the Town will consider an offer from the Fremont Hills <br />Development Company, regarding peripheral road improvements in <br />Units 4#4, 5, and 6, in lieu of the 1300 per lot fee, if made <br />before the next meeting of the Council. <br />Recommendation_ ,'#3: <br />Attorney Bullis was asked to draft an appropriate amendment to <br />Ordinance „39 which would give the Council the privilege of <br />considering alternative arrangements or agreements with Sub- <br />dividers for improvement of peripheral roads, in lieu of the <br />3300 per lot fee. ' <br />6. Assessment of Agricultural Lands. Councilman Bledsoe. <br />Councilman Bledsoe reported that when an area thet is zoDe(� f.3r <br />agriculture is surrounded by, or -'is contiguous to a newly developed <br />residential area, its market value is enhanced by the adjoining <br />development and assessments are increased accordingly.. <br />Councilman Bledsoe suggested -that the Council make inquiry into <br />the situation, and take some action against such, assepsments. <br />The City Attorney was asked to further investigate this situation, <br />and if he deems it necessary, he was asked to draft a resolution <br />indicating the Town's objection to such increased assessments. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />1. Publie Meeting - To be held Monday, January 27tb, 1958 at 8 F. M. <br />at'the own all. <br />Deputy Mayor Rothwell announced that a Public Meeting will be heldt <br />at which time progress reports will be given outlining the accbm-- <br />plishments of the Town during the two years of incorporation. <br />The Planning Commission will report on its activities during the <br />past two years. <br />Ap All citizens of the Town of Los Altos Hills are welcome to the <br />Meeting. <br />'questions concerning the Town will be welcomed. <br />
