Road Commissioner Hibner - Report on Edith Avenue Bridge. <br />Commissioner Hibner reported that Mr. Ahlgren, City Engineer of <br />Los Altos, will begin work as soon'as an agreement between Los <br />Altos and Los Altos Hills has been signed. <br />Mr. Taaffe stated there is no immediate danger on the bridge, un- <br />less used by heavy trucks. <br />Mr. Salfen was instructed to contact Mr. Ahlgren, and have the <br />bridge posted as dangerous to heavy trucks. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />1. Chief of Police Litchfield - Report on "slow to 15 MPH" signs an <br />est P emon a FrMe`I i "Miranda, and Concepcion Avenues. <br />According to the Vehicle Code, a 15 MPH speed limit in this area <br />would not be within legal limits. Chief Litchfield recommended <br />25 MPH zoning. <br />Althouno action was taken on the installation of the signs, the <br />Council -agreed to have the City Clerk order signs pending receipt <br />of report from the County Safety Engineer. <br />2. Chief of Police Litchfield - Report on 15 MPH sone on Moody Road. <br />Chief Litchfield reported that the area in question should have <br />signs reducing speed. He recommended.25 HM as a safe speed.. <br />He suggested that the speed limit be 25 MPH from the Costello <br />residence, 25750 Moody Road to the entrance to the Adobe Creek. <br />Lodge, and that the owners of the Lodge be instructed to have a <br />stop sign installed to stop traffic leaving the lodge, before <br />driving onto Moody Road. <br />Mr. John H. Seeba, Jr., one of the petitioners was present and <br />requested that an "S;sign,s be placed at the approach of the curves. <br />C'vrr P <br />
