Freewa Discussion: <br />Councilman Fowle will prepare a letter to the State <br />Division of Highways favoring the Southern Pacific <br />right-of-way route over other routes through the <br />Town of Los Altos Hills. This letter will be counter- <br />signed by the Mayor, Freeway Committee, Road Commission, <br />and Planning Commission. <br />7. F„glice Chief_ report, Mr. Litchfield: <br />A report was made in which Mr. Litchfield stated he <br />is'now on full-time duty. He has made liason with <br />the four cities adjacent to the Town, and summarized <br />some of the problems encountered. <br />8. PlEMing Commission Minutes: <br />The Council discussed several items in the Commission <br />minutes which were clarified by Richard Bullis, Chairman <br />of the Commission. <br />9. Lea a of California Cities Rem on Legislation, <br />ar er-Bu 1 s: <br />A report had been received from the League of California <br />Cities as to many measures pending before the le- <br />gislature effecting municipal government. Among <br />those of concern to Los Altos Hills was AB 3518 <br />providing certain additional matters excepted from <br />the provisions of the Secret Meeting Law. The <br />City Attorney was instructed to draft a letter to <br />the appropriate legislators asking the favorable <br />consideration of AB 3518. <br />10. Building Department Acts ReRort, Paul W. Saallfen: <br />The total revenue received by the Town of Los Altos <br />Hills 'for the month of March 41,267.90. There have <br />been 31 building permits ($965.50),• 18 electrical <br />permits ($174.40)9. and 9 plumbing permits ($125.00). <br />-3- <br />
