Town Hall, 26379 blest Fremont <br />2. Page Mill Road and Arastradero <br />3. 14agdalena and Summerhill <br />;Motion: Hoefler; Seconded: Fowle; Vote: Approved <br />REC ODMNDAT I ON : <br />Offer as a resolution and move for its adoption. <br />Carried voice vote. <br />3. `laps Recordings of City Council meetings. <br />RESOLUTION -14 <br />Zotion: Mayor Treat; Seconded: Fowle; Vote: Approved <br />RECO 2 Eli -DATION: <br />That Mr. Lane Davis of the Center of Behavioral Sciences <br />be allowed to take tape recordings of the meetings for <br />the purpose of his specialty, political science. The <br />proceedings shall be at all times under the complete <br />control of the Council and be conducted in a manner <br />which is not detrimental to the orderly proceedings <br />of the body. No publication shall be made unless <br />with the entire record published. Carried voice vote. <br />4. A letter was received &9mthe Fremont Land Development <br />Company which was read by the City Clerk. They desire <br />a letter acknowledging receipt of this letter and <br />advised a deed is now being prepared by them and will <br />be delivered to Councilman Hoefler in the near future. <br />Mayor Treat will forward this letter to the Fremont <br />Land Development Company. <br />5. There will be an Air Pollution Control District meeting <br />on March 6, 1957, 10:00 A.M. in Oakland. The Council <br />felt it was not necessary to be represented at this <br />meeting. <br />6. A letter was received from Mr. and Mrs. Schmidt, <br />13141 La Paloma, Los Altos Hills. Mr. Martin Taaffe <br />is operating a contracting yard for road equipment storage <br />and has been increasing his activity. The matter was <br />referred to the City Attorney. <br />7. Progress report on Freeway_ was given by Councilman Fowle. <br />Mr. Fowle was previously requested to go to the adjacent <br />governing bodies to try to get a compromise route. Mr. <br />Fowle gave an analysis of the problems facing each city <br />and Stanford University and why each prefers a certain <br />route. He then explained a map showing three possible <br />routes, but made it clear these were his own thoughts <br />
