In the matter of the transfer of the lot next to the <br />Town Hall which belongs to the Los Altos Fire District <br />with a piece of property which was donated by the <br />Fremont Land Development Company, the Council was <br />informed that the deed would be ready by the end of <br />the week, <br />20. The City Council was informed that the report entitled, <br />City Street Critical Deficiency Report for the Town <br />of Los Altos Hills, prepared by CharlesMccCandless, City <br />Engineer, has been sent to the Joint Interim Committee <br />on Transportation Problems as of February 15, 1957. <br />Immediately after the above mentioned information was <br />given, a letter from the Joint Interim Committee was <br />read which stated the State of California, Division of <br />Highways, will be required to submit a report to the U.S. <br />Bureau of Public Roads containing information and inventory <br />of road and street deficiencies. This is the most <br />important survey of highway, road, and street needs <br />that has been made in the state. The letter was signed <br />by Randolph Collier, Chairman. <br />21. A letter was read from Lawrence G. Brian in regard to <br />connecting d section of the Fremont Hills Development <br />Company with the Los Altos sewer system. This would <br />be at no cost to the Town of Los Altos Hills, but would <br />be strictly an agreement by the Fremont Hills Development <br />Company and the City of Los Altos. The City Council <br />was generally in favor of the idea. <br />RECORD OF SURVEY MAPS: <br />' 1.
