CITY COUNCIL <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF ADJOURNED MEETING <br />OCTOBER 29, 1956 <br />The meeting was called to order at 8 otclock P. M., <br />Monday., at Purissima School. <br />ROLL CALL: Present - Councilmen Bledsoe, Dungan, <br />Fowle, Rothwell <br />Absent - Mayor Treat <br />The maps of Roy Gover, Mr. Hannibal, Mr. Weege were <br />rejected not being complete. <br />ORDINANCE N0. 211, abandoning San Antonio Avenue, was <br />presented for its second reading. Upon motion of <br />Councilman Bledsoe, seconded by Councilman Rothwell, <br />was carried by voice vote that further reading of <br />this ordinance be waived. Ordinance No. 24 was <br />moved for adoption by Councilman Bledsoe, seconded <br />by Councilman Fowle and passed by the following vote: <br />AYES: Councilmen Bledsoe, Dungan, Fowle, <br />Rothwell <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Treat <br />The Council set the hearing on the abandoning of San <br />Antonio Avenue on December 1, 1956, at 9:30 A. M., <br />and instructed the clerk to post the necessary notices. <br />Councilman Rothwell reported that the Library Board <br />would appear before the Council at its December lst <br />meeting. <br />Ord. #2 - Abandon- <br />ing San Antonio <br />Avenue. <br />Councilman Rothwell reported on the change of name Report on Name <br />of Los Altos Hills and asked for a larger committee; Change of Town <br />was instructed by the Vice Mayor and the Council to <br />pick his own committee. <br />
