zA tiVA <br />Mr. Dungan of the difference between emergency and regular <br />ordinances. <br />Mr. Bullis, having accepted the office Af city attorney, <br />stated that conflict of interest would not be an issue. He <br />had permission from the City of Los Altos to serve in dual <br />capacity. <br />Emergency Ordinance No. 1 was presented and read in its <br />entirety by City Attorney Bullis. This ord-nance is related <br />to land use. Adoption was moved by Mr. Rothwell and seconded <br />by Mr. Dungan. After a brief discussion and upon call of the <br />roll was adopted by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Bledsoe, Dungan, Rothwell, and Treat <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Fowle <br />Resolution No. 1 was presented by City Attorney Bullis <br />and read by the Acting City Clerk, J. M. Fowle. This resolu- <br />tion related to the acquisition of a city seal. Moved by <br />Mr. Rothwell, seconded by Mr. Dungan that resolution be adopted. <br />Carried unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 2 was presented by City Attorney Bullis <br />and read by the Acting City Clerk, J. M. Fowle, relating to <br />the public posting of notices in three places specified as <br />West Fremont and Concepcion, city hall as designated and E1 <br />Monte near Stonebrook. It was moved by Mr. Bledsoe, seconded <br />by Mr. Rothwell that the resolution be adopted. Carried uftani- <br />mously. <br />- 3 - <br />
