6. REPORTS FROM COMMITTEES, SUB -COMMITTEES, AND <br />COUNCILMEMBERS ON OUTSIDE AGENCIES <br />A. Report on the Status of the Water Conservation Committee <br />Peter Evans provided the presentation on behalf of Councilmember Harpootlian. <br />Council discussion ensued. <br />DIRECTION: The Environmental Initiatives Committee shall: 1) revisit the <br />requirements of State Assembly Bill #1881 - Water Efficient Landscaping <br />Ordinance; and 2) return to the next City Council meeting and make a presentation <br />on what, if anything, they would recommend the Town's potential response or <br />actions should be to the drought. <br />MOTION MADE AND SECONDED: Councilmember Larsen moved to dissolve <br />the Water Conservation Committee and to have the Environmental Initiatives <br />Committee return at the next City Council meeting to address how the Town can <br />best support the citizens regarding the water crisis. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilmember Waldeck. <br />Motion Carried 4 to 0: <br />AYES: Mayor Radford, Vice Mayor CorriganCouncilmember Larsen <br />Councilmember Waldeck <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Harpootlian <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />B. Report from the Open Space Committee on Acterra's Progress <br />Roger Spreen, Chair of the Los Altos Hills Open Space Committee, presented <br />the status of managing the Town's open space preserves, specifically the removal of <br />invasive species in Byrne Preserve. <br />Council discussion ensued. No action was taken. <br />7. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />MOTION MADE AND SECONDED: Councilmember Larsen moved to approve the <br />CONSENT CALENDAR, with the exception of items 7.13,7.C, 7.G and 7.1.
