Motion CARRIED 5 to 0: <br />AYES: Councilmember Har000tlian, Councilmember Larsen, Mayor <br />Radford, Vice Mayor Corrigan, Councilmember Waldeck <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DIRECTION: The Council directed the City Attorney's office to review the <br />agreement and come back next month with an opinion. <br />C. Traffic Calming Guide; File #333-13-MISC (,Staff. D. Pedro) <br />Debbie Pedro, Community Development Director presented the report. <br />Council discussion ensued. <br />Jim Abraham, Los Altos Hills, informed the Council on why he voted "no" on the <br />Traffic Calming Guide at the Planning Commission meeting. <br />Bill Balson, Los Altos Hills, observed that a number of cities elevate their traffic <br />committee to a higher level which allows for more notification and publicity. <br />Kjell Karlsson, Los Altos Hills, said that he largely supported Jim Abraham's <br />comments. <br />Council discussion ensued. <br />Director Pedro stated, for the record, that on Page 10 of the Traffic Calming <br />Guide, Level Two Notification and Approval Chart, under Town Council, it should <br />state that City Council approval is required. <br />MOTION MADE AND SECONDED: Moved by Councilmember Larsen, to <br />accept and approve the proposed Traffic Calming Guide, as corrected by <br />Community Development Director Debbie Pedro.
