19 <br />K. Report on Traffic Safetyon n Page Mill Road by the Santa Clara County Sheriffs <br />Office - added with Revision No. 1 <br />Santa Clara County Sheriffs Office Captain Sung reported on traffic safety on <br />Page Mill Road. <br />Council discussion ensued. <br />Captain Sung stated that the Sheriffs Office would increase enforcement on Page <br />Mill Road and Altamont Road for the next four to five weeks and would return at a <br />later date with the results of that enforcement. <br />4. PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR Persons wishing to address the Council <br />on any subiect not on the agenda may do so now. Please complete a Speaker Card <br />located on the back table of the Council Chambers and submit it to the City Clerk. <br />Comments are limited to two (2) minutes per speaker. California law prohibits the <br />Council from acting on items that do not appear on the agenda. Under a Resolution <br />previously adopted by the Council, such items can be referred to staff for <br />appropriate action, which may include placement on the next available agenda. <br />Eileen Gibbons, Los Altos Hills Pathways Committee Member, provided an update on <br />the progress of the Pathways Mapping Project. <br />Dru Anderson, Los Altos Hills, spoke about the traffic in town. <br />5. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />A. Conduct a Public Hearing and Adopt a Resolution Approving the Issuance of <br />Notes in an Aggregate Amount Not to Exceed $150,000,000 by the California <br />Public Finance Authority (Ca1PFA) on Behalf of the Daughters of Charity Health <br />System and Authorize Membership in Ca1PFA as an Additional Member (Staff: C. <br />Cahill) - wording corrected with Revision No. 1 <br />Mayor Corrigan opened the Public Hearing. <br />City Manager Carl Cahill introduced the representatives from the Daughters of <br />Charity Health System. <br />Mike LaPierre, California Public Financing Authority, provided information on <br />the benefits of joining the JPA and requested the Town authorize the issuance of up <br />to $150,000,000 of tax exempt, working capital notes, issued by the California <br />Public Finance Authority. <br />City Council Special Meeting Minutes <br />October 14, 2015 <br />
