ORDINANCE NO. 121 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF <br />LOS ALTOS HILLS AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 78 BY <br />ADDING NEW SECTIONS THERETO PERTAINING TO MINIMUM <br />AREA OF STEEP LOTS <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS DOES <br />HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. This ordinance is adopted pursuant to Section <br />65858 of the Government Code of the State of California, and <br />the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does hereby <br />find and determine that the Planning Commission of said City <br />is considering or studying or intends to study within a <br />reasonable time proposals relating to appropriate zoning <br />regulations for steep sites. This ordinance is therefor <br />adopted as an urgency measure to protect the public health, <br />safety and welfare of the Town of Los Altos Hills. <br />SECTION II. Ordinance No. 78 of the Town of Los Alto: <br />Hills adopted December 4, 1962, is hereby amended by adding <br />to Section VIII thereof two new subsections as follows: <br />'18:11 Special Rule for Steep Lots. Notwith- <br />standing the general rule expressed in Section 8:10 <br />above, the minimum net area of every lot used for a <br />dwelling, if the average slope of said lot (or any <br />portion thereof of an area of one acre or more) is <br />in excess of 25%, shall be not less than 87,120 <br />square feet net and only one primary dwelling unit <br />shall be allowed on such lot. <br />118:12 Average Slope.
