ORDINANCE NO. 167 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS ESTABLISHING CONNECTION CHARGES AND CHARGES FOR RIGHTS OF CAPACITY AND USE IN CERTAIN TRUNK SEWERS, AND ESTABLISHING A LOS ALTOS BASIN SEWER FUND. The City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does hereby ordain as follows: SECTION 1. There is hereby established an additional connection charge, to pay for rights of capacity and use, in the sum of $100.00, to be charged for each unit of use connected to that certain trunk sewer known as the Altamont Trunk Sewer Line, which line is more particularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto and by this reference herein incorporated. From and after the effective date of this ordinance, said charge shall be collected as a condition precedent to the issuance of a permit to connect to said trunk sewer line, and all amounts so collected shall be paid into the Los Altos Basin Sewer Fund hereinafter established. SECTION 2. There is hereby established an additional connection charge, to pay for rights of capacity and use, in the City of Los Altos sewage treatment facilities, which charge shall be collected as a condition precedent to the issuance of a permit for any unit of use to connect to the facilities of the City of Los Altos, if such unit has not previously been assessed for or paid such a capacity charge to the City of Los Altos. The amount of such charge shall be the sum of $276.00 as established for the base calendar year of 1969, plus 7 per cent thereof for each year thereafter, compounded annually. All sums collected pursuant to this section shall be paid into the Los Altos Basin Sewer Fund hereinafter established. SECTION 3. There is hereby established a special fund R0SIN O.
