ORDINANCE No. 194 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE LOS ALTOS <br />HILLS MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO SLOPE DENSITY, BEING AN <br />URGENCY ORDINANCE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY UPON ADOPTION. <br />The City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills, California, <br />does hereby ordain as follows: <br />SECTION 1. Amendment of Municipal Code <br />Sec. 9-5.401 of the Los Altos Hills Municipal Code <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />ROBIN O. FAIBANT <br />F Lvl<151 339 6393 <br />"Sec. 9-5.401 Lot area. <br />The provisions of this section are minimum <br />requirements for lots used or intended to be used <br />for primary uses or conditional uses. other laws of <br />the Town may impose standards requiring substantially <br />larger lots, thereby reducing the number of lots <br />possible in a subdivision. <br />(a) Minimum lot area. No lot shall have a net <br />area less than 43,560 square feet. <br />(b) Slope density requirements. In addition to <br />the requirements set forth in section (a) of this section, <br />the average area of lots created in any subdivision shall <br />not be less than the following: <br />(1) Where the average slope of the parcel <br />to be subdivided is greater than ten (10%) percent, but <br />not greater than forty-five (45%) percent, the average <br />net lot area shall not be less than "a" as determined by <br />the formula: a - 1 where "S" is <br />the average slope of: the parcel in percent. <br />(2) Where the average slope of the parcel to <br />be subdivided is greater than forty-five (45%) percent, <br />-1- <br />
