AN ORDINANCE OF THr TO'7N OF LOS LIT03 HILLS, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING, C%LLING, PROVIDING FOR AND GIVING NOTICE OF A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILL ON THE 101b D,1Y OF NOVEMBER, 1959, FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUBMITTING TO THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF SAID CITY A PROPOSITION TO WITHDRAW THE TO'4N OF LOS ALTOS HILLS FROM THE LOS ALTOS COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT .AND FROM ANY DISTRICT INTO 14HICH IT MAY BE CONSOLIDATED. THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN Or LOS ALTOS HILLS DOES ORDZN AS FOLLOWSs SECTION I. That a Special Election be held, and the same is hereby called to be held, in the Town of Los Altos Hills, California, on the 102 day of November, 1959, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of said town the following proposition: SHALL THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS '•/ITHDRAW FROM THE IAS ALTOS COUNTRY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT AND FROM ZY DISTRICT INTO WHICH IT MAY BE CONSOLIDATED? SECTION II. That if the proposition for the withdrawal of the Town of Loa Altos Hills from the Los Altos County Fire Protection District so submitted receives the requisite number of votes, to wit, a majority of the votes of the qualified electors voting on said pro- position, the Town of Los altos Hills shall withdraw pursuant to law. SECTION III. That the polls for said election shall be opened at seven o'clock A. M. of the day of said election and shall remain open continuously from said time until seven o'clock F. M. of the same day, when said polls shall be closed, except as provided in Section 5734 of the Elections Code of the State of California, SECTION IV. Said Special Municipal Election shall be held and conducted and the votes thereof canvassed, and the returns there- of made, and the results thereof ascertained and determined as herein provided; and in all particulars not prescribed by this Ordinance said election shall be held as provided by law for the holding of municipal elections in said City. SECTION V. All persons qualified to vote at municipal elect- ions in said City upon the date of the election herein provided -for shall be qualified to vote upon the propositions submitted at said Special Municipal Election. SECTION VI. INSTRUCTIONS TO VOTERS. On the top of the face of the ballot the following directions shall be printed:
