• Administer and/or oversee the administration of contracts; review and approve payments <br /> and billings for contracted services. <br /> • Oversee and participate in the review of projects under construction in the field; resolve <br /> complaints and problems in the field between the inspectors and developers, contractors <br /> and/or engineers. <br /> • Participate in the review of private development proposals including subdivision <br /> and parcel maps. <br /> • Coordinate maintenance of Town owned sewer facilities and equipment. <br /> • Prepare maps using CAD. <br /> • Field work to prepare Capital Improvement Projects. <br /> • Perform other duties as assigned. <br /> MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS <br /> This position is a unique opportunity to contribute to a team responsible for delivering a full range <br /> of wastewater service to the Town. Must have experience in the management of engineering <br /> workgroups,experience in the design,operation and maintenance of water and wastewater systems. <br /> Knowledge of. <br /> Principles and practices of engineering as applied to public works, infrastructure, transportation, <br /> land development or utilities; methods, materials, tools and equipment used in engineering <br /> construction; principles of algebra, geometry and trigonometry and their application to <br /> engineering; strengths, properties and uses of engineering construction materials. <br /> Applicable laws and regulatory codes relevant to assigned area of responsibility;methods,materials <br /> and techniques used in the construction of public works and utilities projects; modem standards <br /> of alignment, grade, and compaction of streets; topographic and construction surveying; <br /> strengths, properties and uses of engineering construction materials; storm water quality <br /> requirements from other regulatory agencies; and, Caltrans requirement for projects involving <br /> grant funds. <br /> Principles and practices of relevant area of engineering expertise as applied to new development, <br /> municipal public works, traffic and environmental regulatory design and permits; applicable <br /> laws and regulatory codes related to development, operations, design and construction; traffic <br /> and/or environmental engineering; methods and techniques used in the design, construction and <br /> surveying of a variety of public works projects; and, principles of organization, administration and <br /> personnel management. <br /> Resolution 53-I8 Page 0 <br />
