CITY COUNCIL MINI)TES - July 17, 1985 <br />G. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Item 4. Items Removed from the Consent Calendar (continued) : <br />C) Resolution # ordering the perfovnance of certain work (Barron Creek <br />dredging) <br />Dronkert had removed this from the Consent Calendar for clarification of the <br />dredging in question. Staff responded that the Barron Creek dredging would be <br />done from Fremont Road to Ortega Drive, roughly behind Bullis School. <br />NOTION SECONDED AM CARRIED: Moved by van Tamelen, seconded by Fubrman and passed <br />unanimously to adopt Resolution #91-85 ordering the performance of certain work <br />(Barron Creek Dredging) <br />d) Request from Ins Altos Fire Department for Council authorization to <br />remove fire hazards on certain properties within the Town <br />Dronkert stated that she removed this item from the Consent Calendar because she <br />questioned whether the mobile hone on another property approved for weed abatement <br />had been investigated by the Town. The City Engineer noted that the appropriate <br />permits had been applied for. <br />MYPION SECONDED AND CARRED: Moved by van Tamelen, seconded by Elnhrman and passed <br />unanimously to authorize removal of fire hazards on the following properties (APN <br />182-31-41, 182-31-40, 182-3-24, 182-3-25, and 336-46-2 <br />e) LANDS OF LINDSAY, FILE SA #1-84, 13151 W. Sunset Drive, Site Approval <br />PASSED BY CONSENSUS: To continue this item to the next Council meeting at the <br />request of the applicant. <br />Allison pointed out that the Conditions should be corrected to state 'shall' instead <br />of 'should'. Also Condition 4.A. should be corrected to shoe 1,500 gallon tank, <br />not 15,000. <br />H. SPECIAL REPORTS: <br />1. Reports from Standing Committees: <br />a) Community Relations Committee: <br />PASSED By CONSENSUS: To reappoint Edward Dames as Chairman of the Com amity <br />Relations Committee for a term of one year. <br />2. Reports from Ad Hoc Committees: <br />a) Fd Hoc Disaster Sub -Committee <br />It was rioted that Carl Sorensen hal been chosen by the residents in the fire <br />disaster area to represent then. Dronkert suggested the formation of a sub- <br />committee to meet with the residents affected by the disaster to discuss recommends - <br />tions for future prevention of such a catastrophe. <br />PASSED BY CONSENSUS: Tb form a July 1 Disaster Committee comprised of Carl Sorensen, <br />Barbara Tryon Eli Barnes, Jean Struthers and Mary Stutz. Committee will review <br />concerns, suggestions, etc. concerning fire and will report back to the Council. <br />-10- <br />
