Ordinance #263 amending Section 9-5.303 of Chapter 5 of Title 9 of the <br />Los Altos Hills Municipal Code by providing for the prezoning of Casa <br />Mia Way. (SBOOND READING) <br />MOTION SECONDED AMID CARRIED: Moved by McReynolds, seconded by Proft and passed <br />unanimously to waive further reading of Ordinance #263. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Proft, seconded by McReynolds and passed <br />unanimously to adopt Ordinance #263 by title. <br />F. GENERAL ORDERS AMID UNFINISHED BUSINESS: <br />G. NEW BUSINESS: <br />1. Noise Abatement Measures - San Antonio Rancho <br />The City Manager reported on Mr. Damaaandi's request that rather than complete <br />the landscape screening for noise abetment along certain lots of San Antonio <br />Rancho an average sun of $250 be allocated to each of the affected lots. There- <br />after this sun would be credited or paid to each lot comer at the "permit" <br />stage coupled with an attendant duty to plant, prescribed as a "Design and <br />Review" condition. In his letter Mr. Danavanli stated that this landscaping <br />40 had been started but many of the plantings had been lost due to a variety of <br />causes. <br />MOTION SEWI,4DED AND CARRIED: Moved by Hillestad, seconded by Perkins and passed <br />umanimously to continue this item to the next meeting so that Council could <br />mnpare the lot numbers and conditions of Mr. Damavandi's letter with the <br />approved conditions of approval. <br />2. Father Clark Park (letter frau the City of Palo Alto regarding possible <br />sale of property). <br />The City Manager reported that the City of Palo Alto was considering selling <br />Esther Clark Park. He had met with Mr. Diaz, Real Property Administrator - <br />City of Palo Alto and had indicated Ios Altos Hills was interested in the prop- <br />erty and in preserving it in its present state. Ooumcilmembers felt this was <br />a project worth pursuing and directed the City Manager to enter into negotiations <br />with Palo Alto. <br />PASSED BY ODNSENSiS: To appoint Councilman Proft to work with staff and with <br />Palo Alto regarding Esther Clark Park. <br />3. Mayor Nystrom asked Councilman Perkins to meet the week of June 9th with <br />Donald Haunord and Joan Johnston of the Palo Alto Unified School District <br />Board of Education and Mr. Nystrom to discuss surplus property and other <br />( matters which may be of mutual interest. <br />V <br />Imc <br />
