UNSCHEDULED ITEM NO. 4• <br />REPORT ON NOISE CONTROL AT FOOTHILL COLLEGE - COUNCILMAN STAN GRABOWSKI <br />Councilman Grabowski reported on a meeting he and Dr. Bob Ward of the Noise <br />Abatement Committee had had recently with Foothill College representatives as a <br />result of numerous complaints received following an "Auto Cross" rally held <br />several months ago. He noted the cooperative spirit extended by the college in that <br />all vehicles participating in future events will meet the requirements of the State <br />Vehicle Code and that such events will be conducted in a manner least offensive to <br />citizens residing in the area. <br />UNSCHEDULED ITEM NO. 5• <br />REQUEST FOR A REDUCTION OF CHARGES AGAINST RHOS RIDGE RANCHO SUBDIVISION <br />Staff reviewed a request from Bassett Lane Associates for the Town to waive certain <br />fees which were charged against the Rhus Ridge subdivision for work done in connec- <br />tion with their five acre park donation along Adobe Creek. <br />Council concurred that in view of the generous donation it would be inappropriate <br />to charge the applicant with staff's time for the review and processing of the <br />open space dedication. <br />POTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Davey moved, seconded by Grabowski and <br />`, carried unanimously by roll call vote that the Town Engineer and City Manager's <br />time amounting to $260.00 be credited to the subdivision charges against the <br />Rhus Ridge Final Subdivision Map. <br />UNSCHEDULED ITEM NO. 6: <br />REQUEST FOR PERMISSION TO BE OUT OF TOWN - CITY MANAGER <br />City Manager requested permission to take one week of vacation - March 22 through <br />March 26, 1971. <br />POTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Corbett moved, seconded by Helgesson <br />and carried unanimously that Mr. Fritschle be granted leave for one week of <br />vacation March 22 through March 26, 1971. <br />UNSCHEDULED ITEM NO. 7: <br />STAFF REPORTS <br />1. The Town Engineer reviewed the status of the sewer pump installations in <br />Rosehill Estates I and II. In addition, he recommended that the City Attorney be <br />directed to take appropriate legal action if work on the incompleted subdivision <br />improvements is not initiated within two weeks. <br />2. City Attorney reviewed progress of numerous suits pending in which the Town <br />is involved. <br />PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR: <br />1. Mrs. Edward Ginzton, 28014 Natoma Road, former chairman of the Pathway <br />Committee, requested that the Council approve posting of bike paths as recommended <br />by the Planning Commission in May, 1968. <br />Council concurred that this request be referred to the Pathway Committee. <br />-3- <br />
