Los Altos Hills Association - Preface to Zoning <br />Ordinance. (Standard Specifications for Subdivisions) <br />Mr. R. W. Towle, President of the Los Altos. Hills -Association, <br />recommended <br />recommended as asubstitute for the last paragraph, or alter- <br />nately as an additional sentence to the preface of .the Standard <br />Specifications for. Subdivisions, as follows: <br />"Particular attention is directed to the paragraphs <br />regarding one acre minimum building sites, and the <br />option allowed the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills <br />to -require larger than one acre building sites where <br />topography warrants." <br />Mayor Henley .read the adopted preface and also read in its <br />entirety Mr. Towle's letter dated August 18, 1965 justifying the <br />proposed (above) amendment. Council had no objection to <br />including this sentence since it pointed out the Town's basic <br />law of one acre zoning. <br />
