Side 2 <br />Track 4 <br />MOTIOFI AND SBCOi`ly: Councilman Benson moved, seconded by Councilman 267 <br />Aiken, that the Tentative Map of Henry V. Seward (337-67), 2 lots, <br />be approved, in accordance with the recommendations of the Planning <br />Coimission and Check List. <br />Councilman Aiken requested, and there was no objection, that the r.:cords <br />indicate there was discussion that the improved septic tank ordinance, <br />now in theprocessof being prepared, may be required in the future. <br />NOTION CARRIED: The Motion to approve was carried unanimously by voice <br />vote. <br />Schedul-ad Ite_a No. 3. <br />PR2S&1TATI011 F:.WIM HOMBOANERS FOR 14BSP01431BLF ACTION, Reel 3 <br />Side 2 <br />14r, P, Burchard made an oral presentation as Chairman of the Home- Track 4 <br />owners for Responsible Action on their position regarding the 314 <br />alternate financing, plan for Sewer Assessment District No; 2. This <br />Group opposes the use of public funds for construction; <br />Councilman Davey read a prepared statement (on file at the Town Hall) <br />x3garding a Homeowners .for Responsible Action petition opposing sewers <br />referred to in the Council Minutes. of July 11, 1967 as being submitted <br />as a matter of record, but which was never filed at the Town Hall. <br />Mr; Burchard commented on Councilman Davey's statement and offered to <br />give the mailing list to an impartial third party to count, since the <br />petition was no longer regarded by the Homeowners Group as a matter of <br />public record. <br />At Councilman Davey's request, the following statement is incorporated, <br />without objection, at this point of the Minutes{ "Mr. Burchard has. <br />refused to allow this as public record for the Town Council and I submit <br />that this kind of action on the part of the Homeowners for Responsible <br />Action certainly leaves m2 with some dubious question as to what responsi- <br />ble action this embodies; In my opinion, this is a very irresponsible <br />action and is certainly the withholding of public information from a body <br />which wishes to solve problems." <br />Schaduled Item No; 4; t el 3 <br />REPORT ON SUER PROPOSAL Irl ALTAMONT B:iBIN.
