Scheduled Item No, A cont Id.: <br />There were comments from the Floor from Messrs. G. Ferrari, B. P. <br />Oliver and V. Voorhees. <br />MOTION, SECONDBD AND CARRIED: Councilman Benson moved, secondad by <br />Councilman Aiken, that the Council inform those residents and subdividers <br />in the Altamont Basin who nay want sewers, that if they put in a trunk line <br />that the Council would enter into a reimbursement agreement with then <br />whereby the Town would collect from anyone later desiring to use this <br />trunk, until the original cost is repaid in full; also, that the trunk must <br />be sized for the entire basin and that the cost per lot be based on the <br />entire area, was carried unanimously by voice vote. <br />The Mayor instructed the City Manager to schedule a Study Session at the <br />Town Hall to be held on Thursday, January 4, 1968 at 8:00 P. M. for the <br />express purpose of discussing Sewer Assessment District No, 2 and varia- <br />tions thereof, and that all property owners within the Altamont Basin be <br />so notified. <br />Scheduled Item No. 5: - Reel 3 <br />PRELIMINARY REPORT ON SEVER ASSFSSlIE14T DISTRICT NO. 31 Side 2 <br />Track e <br />City Engineer Marvin Nachtsheim and associate, Bob Boone, presented 560 <br />supplementary sewerage study on proposed Sewer Assessment District <br />No, 3, which considered four alternate locations for delivering the <br />sewage to the Los Altosseweragesystem and costs. This m_port is on <br />file at the Town Hall. <br />Council discussion followed. At Councilman Aiken's request, the <br />following statement is incorporated at this point of the Minutes: "The <br />figures just presented by the Engineer (Sewer Assessment District <br />No. 3) add up to close to $6,000 per residence on a financing basis and <br />we should be careful not to mislead anyone," <br />The Mayor instructed the City Manager to reserve a meeting line at an <br />adjoining school (at time of this publication the meeting date has been <br />confirr,:ed for Wednesday, January 10, 1968, 6:00 P. M, at the Frenont <br />Elementary School, 26000Ortega Drive) to hold an open discussion on the <br />subject of sewers in the Barron Creek Area, proposed sewer contract <br />with Palo Alto, possible financing of sewers in the entire area of the <br />Town which drains to Palo Alto, and other aspects of interest regarding <br />sewers, and, that all residents of. the Town be so notified. <br />Scheduled Item 6. <br />CO14SIDERAT1014 OF SITE DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE: <br />City Manager read letter dated December 9, 1967 from <br />Nwxon, 501 San Felicia Way, Los Altos, pointing out <br />proposed ordinance to owners of gently sloping lots <br />the requirement of a licensed landscape architect., <br />-4- <br />Reel <br />Side <br />Traci: <br />Mr. John B. 800 <br />inequities in the <br />and objecting to <br />as proposed therein. <br />
