Vanderveer Voorhees (V-247-66) - Appeal of Requirement for <br />Underground Utilities. <br />City Manager referred to Planning Commission discussion and <br />read its recommendations. The City Attorney ruled that the <br />ordinance does not cover temporary power supply and that the <br />Council could deal with this request on any reasonable basis <br />without being restricted by the ordinances. <br />Iir. R. Incerpi, agent for Mr. Voorhees, was present, stating <br />his intentions to put the drop underground and of his future <br />plans. Petition objecting to a temporary power pole was <br />brought to the attention of the Council. There was no <br />representation from the opposition and there was no audience <br />discusssion. <br />ACTION: <br />That the Council approve the request for a <br />temporary overhead installation for a period <br />not to exceed three years and that a cash or an <br />acceptable surety bond in the amount of '%1600.00 <br />be posted for putting the line underground. <br />Pr7TI0.:: Bowler; .83COND: Clayton; VOTE: Passed unanimously. <br />( � VARIIvNCES: <br />1.
