-2- Davison cont 'd. ACTION: That action on the Gladys Davison division be deferred, and that the City Clerk ex* lore the possibility of obtaining a dedication of a portion of land at the narrow end of the property. MOTION: Bledsoe ; SECOND: Clayton; VOTE: reseed unanimously OID BUSINESS: 1. Fremont Hills Unit ja - Consideration of :,cceptance of Improvements. Mr. William D. Coldiron was present , representing the l'remont Hills Development Company. The City Engineer retorted that he had made an inspection, and that most of the improvements had been made. He cited mainenance prob- lems which still exist. Several places along St. Francis need dressing up; drainage installations have been made, but gutters and inlets were clogged; a low area on Ascension Avenue is still not satisfactory, although attempts have been made to remedy the situation; and there some soft shoulders along some of the roads. Mr. Longmire stated that most of the problems were main- tenance problems , and cannot be taken care of until after the rainy season is over. He suggested that a maintenance bond be posted for the remainder of the improvements. rr. Coldiron stated that most of the gutters had been cleaned and were clogged again due to recent rains. Relative to planting, he said an agreement has been made with Mr. Sherlock and that planting should be done within the next thirty days. He stated that the Fremont Sills Development Co. feels that the amount of the improvements yet to be installed would not be in access of 5,000, and suggested that a bond for :58,000 be intered into. He further stated that acceptance of the improvements, subject to conditions listed by I7r. Longmire is desired, but that it is not necessary at this tire. Fainly they would like to get a release from the master bond and approval to to file a bond of a lesser amount. Fr. Longmire stated that he felt that a bond for :10,000 would be adequate. The matter of paths in `'remont dills Unit '1 was raised by Com- missioner Mellquist. He stated that pedistrian and equestrian paths had been required. Following considerable discussion, it was determined that paths had been eliminated along the roads. These areas have been plant- ed and cannot have paths installed. Paths are to be installed be- tween certain lots as indicated on the recorded mar. .� The Mayor suggested that the present bond be reduced to 720,000, and Yr. Coldiron stated that this amount would be satifactory. Nr. Coldiron stated his willingness to comply with all requirements.
